As of 7/24/2026 (12:30 PM)
  • Sharon Galderise (7/24) - Sharon broke her tibia this week and is most likely going to a rehabilitation center for therapy as she recovers. Pray for her and Bill during this time as he cares for her.
  • Iris Haley (7/24) - Iris Haley will be having a cardioversion procedure on Monday (7/27) to reset abnormal heart rhythm. This is a non-invasive procedure. Pray that this is helpful for Iris.
  • Sue Johnson (Update 7/24) Sue is at home after her successful pacemaker implant surgery two weeks ago. By God's grace her shortness of breath, light-headedness, and other symptoms have gone away. If you would be interested in helping prepare meals from meat that Sue already has in her freezer, please contact Anne Zornes (330-936-3228) who is coordinating this effort. (7/11)  Sue had a successful pacemaker implant procedure yesterday (Friday) and is set to go home this afternoon. Pray for her as she recovers at home in the coming days and that she would see the desired results from the procedure. Sue would love for people to visit. You can reach out by text or phone to arrange a time. Her number is 330-495-7995.
  • Paula Moore (Update 7/17) - Paula went home to be with the Lord this past Sunday evening (7/12). Please pray now for her daughter, Jamie, and grandson, Colin, as they grieve her loss. Her going home service will be Wednesday, August 5th at 11:00 AM at the church with a lunch to follow. There will be no calling hours. Her FLOCK and others close to her from the church are invited to stay for lunch as Paula did not have much family in the area. Cards of sympathy can be sent to their home address: 6787 Glenmere Ave NE, Canton, 44721.  You can read Paula's obituary here.
  • Jim Thompson (7/10) - Jim had rotator cuff surgery today (Friday) and is now home recovering. Pray for him and Linda as he recovers and begins rehabilitation.
  • Jonathan Amrhein - (Update 6/19) Jonathan's tumor continues to fill, and needs continually drained, however, the nodule is stable. Please pray that the medication will work, that the side effects are minimal and that Jonathan's faith will remain strong, as he trusts in what the Lord has for him through this.  (Previous Update) Jonathan's surgery on his brain tumor last October went well.  In the months following Jonathan continued to have some symptoms he was experiencing prior to his brain surgery . An MRI  revealed that fluid had returned to his brain tumor which required a second procedure to remove the fluid and insert a tube.  After 2-3 weeks of healing he started treatment to shrink the nodule in the tumor.
  • Mary Jane Phillips - In late April Mary Jane had what appeared to be a mini-stroke type of event that has effected her ability to community even more. Please be in friend for MJ as this has brought a new level of frustration as she also has lost the ability to write. Pray for her dear friend Karen Schaff and others who minister to her on a regular basis, and for MJ that she continues to feel the Lord's presence and strength as she faces this trial.  Previous Update: Mary Jane has now been moved into Hospice Care. This does not mean that MJ is near death but that they are deciding she will not be rushed to the hospital (as she has been several times) by the nursing staff. This will improve her quality of life for the remaining time that the Lord gives her here with us. She is still living in her apartment at the Canton Regency  (4515 22nd St NW - Room 159, Canton, OH 44708) and would still benefit from visits. Be in prayer for MJ and her family.
  • Billy Harvey is in kidney failure and is in AlterCare of Louisville.  Pray for him (as well as the Dan and Tracy) during this difficult time.
  • Rita Forsythe has been moved into hospice care. Please pray for Tom and the family during this time.
