As of 12/27/25 (12:20 PM)
  • Cora Roberts (Update 12/26)  - Be in prayer for Cora and her family as her dear husband Andy passed on Friday 11/28. The family will be holding a private service on 12/27 with Pastor Bruce officiating.
  • Jeff & Cara Haley's daughter, Katherine Herrmann (Update 12/27) - Katherine had her surgery yesterday (Fri.) and it went well.  Please pray for her recovery and that she will be able to go home today as planned. (12/26) - Katherine's emergency follow-up heart surgery DID NOT happen this past Monday as hoped. They are hoping that it will take place today (Sat. 12/26). (12/17) - Katherine's heart surgery was successful today.   The doctor was very happy with how surgery went and how the valve and heart are doing.   Hopefully, she will go home tomorrow and continue to recover. Katherine had a heart transplant a few years ago and doctors needed to perform a very critical procedure on December 17th.
  • Karen Kemp (Update 12/13) - Karen went home from the hospital on Friday 12/12 and is now recovering at home. It was determined that she did NOT have a stroke but instead most likely experienced TIA (transient ischemic attack) which is a temporary blockage of blood flow to the brain.
  • Mary Jane Phillips - Mary Jane has now been moved into Hospice Care. This does not mean that MJ is near death but that they are deciding she will not be rushed to the hospital (as she has been several times) by the nursing staff. This will improve her quality of life for the remaining time that the Lord gives her here with us. She is still living in her apartment at the Canton Regency  (4515 22nd St NW - Room 159) and would still benefit from visits. Be in prayer for MJ and her family, and click here to read a more detailed update from her dear friend Karen Schaff.
  • Tracy Holmes' Mother had brain surgery on November 13th. Everything went well, but the next morning she fell out of her hospital bed somehow onto the floor, then had a seizure and bleeding on the brain. Please pray for comfort and peace for her and the entire family.
  • Anne Zornes - After a longer than expected spine surgery on 10/30 and spending some time in Aultman recovering, Anne is now recovering at home.  Continue to pray for her and Trace as she recovers.
  • Jonathan Amrhein - Jonathan's surgery on October 13th went well. Jonathan had been having some symptoms he was experiencing prior to his brain surgery this past summer. An MRI  revealed that fluid had returned to his brain tumor which required this second procedure to remove the fluid and insert a tube.  After 2-3 weeks of healing he will start chemotherapy or other medication to shrink the nodule in the tumor.
  • Janie Fausnight's Sister (Sheila) is having major health issues. Please pray for her both physically and spiritually, and for Janie as she seeks to love and serve her family.
  • Paula Moore as she is now living back at home but has several health challenges.
  • Jake Hatcher as he continues to recover from extensive back surgery and battles ongoing pain.
  • Billy Harvey is in kidney failure and is in AlterCare of Louisville. He was scheduled for a consultation at University Hospital on 6/23 for a potential transplant. Pray for him (as well as the family) during this difficult time.
  • Rita Forsythe has been moved into hospice care. Please pray for Tom and the family during this time.
