The Gospel – Meeting Jesus
What to Expect
Sunday’s are all about experiencing the love of Jesus and living that love in practice toward others. You can expect to be encouraged through songs that are mixtures of new sounds as well as old favorites. We listen and respond to God through the faithful verse-by-verse preaching of His Word. Children, youth and adults will find classes that are tailored to their needs from capable and caring leaders. You will notice many of our people laughing, conversing, serving, and enjoying each other in our lobbies and hallways.
Preaching / Teaching
At Faith Bible Church we strive to have a high view of God and a high view of His Word: the Bible. We believe the Bible should be preeminent in our hearts and lives, which is why we center our worship service on the expository, verse-by-verse teaching and preaching of God’s word. For more information about how we function, go to our What We Believe section.
We invite you to listen to our many video and audio sermons in our 15+ year media archive.

Church Address: 6655 Firestone Rd NE, Canton, OH 44721
Our Church is located on Firestone Road, 1.5 Miles East of Washington Square and 1 Mile North of GlenOak High School.
New experiences can be intimidating, and we get how awkward visiting a new church can be. We promise to make your first time attending easy. As soon as you walk in the door you will find a Welcome Center staffed by friendly, helpful folk who are ready to answer any questions. After the Worship Service, join a Pastor for a Meet & Greet in our conference room. This is an informal time to ask any questions and get to know us a little better.
To help you get connected we encourage you to join a small group (FLOCK), participate in one of our Ministries or service opportunities or attend a one of our informal, fun events. Find out more on our CONNECT page or by visiting our Welcome Center.
We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; He ascended into heaven, He is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
In a nutshell, we believe that God Saves Sinners. We believe that the good news of Jesus’ gospel should be preached to ourselves first; daily and then shouted from the mountaintops for all to hear. For more information and specifics visit our What We Believe page or CONTACT US anytime about our doctrine and teaching.

We care for our community primarily by pointing others to their need for Christ and through meeting practical needs. Some of the ways in which we do this are to constantly stock a food pantry for anyone who is in need. We host a community outreach dinner the last Tuesday of every month. We reach out to nursing homes, love on Canton’s Kids through our ROCK program, and our members individually share the love of Christ in many ways, shapes, and forms as they GO on mission. Speaking of mission check out our Ministries and Mission’s pages to learn more about how we live the love of Christ to others.
We love little ones here at FBC! Newborn babies through the early toddler stages are welcome and cherished, they can be dropped off in our Infant Nursery.
Your children will be cared for by volunteers who love them and will care for yours as if they were their own. All of our workers have undergone background checks and have been cleared to work with children per FBC’s volunteer policy. Additionally, for your child’s security every classroom has a window in the door for easy viewing.
Little ones who can walk (toddle) are welcome to come to our Toddler Zone. Here, Kids in early childhood are cared for in a safe, age-appropriate, FUN setting. All of our children’s workers have undergone background checks and have been cleared to work with children per FBC’s volunteer policy. Additionally, for your child’s security every classroom has a window in the door for easy viewing.
At Faith Bible Church, our children learn to worship God for who He is, based on an understanding that we are all sinners in need of a savior. We do this by meeting as a unified children’s church for group singing and teaching. Then we divide into small groups for age-appropriate teaching and discussion. Currently we are working through the Gospel Project Curriculum. We love our little ones at Faith Bible Church and we promise that our qualified, loving and caring staff will care for your children as if they were their own. Each week they will hear about the loving, saving message of Jesus – no matter what the topic of the teaching. At Faith Bible Church we believe that Jesus is the Hero of ALL the Bible.
We offer classes during 1st hour (Sunday School) for the following age divisions. However, during 2nd hour (Worship Service) we do not offer classes for 4th & 5th graders. We invite students to join their parents in the service at that time.
Our children’s Sunday School classes are divided based on age/grade. We have a separate age-appropriate room for the following groups:
Kindergarten – 1st Grade
2nd – 3rd Grade
4th – 5th Grade
For more information about how we care for kids go to our FBC-Kids Page.
We take safety seriously as indicated by a Stark County Sherriff’s deputy present at Sunday morning and evening services.
Our class worker’s are background checked and vetted by our Pastoral staff. Additionally, our classroom policy does not allow for an adult to be alone with a child. To accommodate this philosophy we strive for our classes to include both a male and a female staff person – depending on our volunteer pool. We also have windows on our classroom doors for accountability and safety.
Student Ministries (Jr & Sr High)
FBC’s Student ministry consists of Junior High and Senior High students. The purpose of our student ministry is to provide a safe place for pre-teens and teenagers to grow in their Christian Faith. We accomplish this through preaching and teaching God’s unchanging and perfect Word.
We believe that the best way for us to function as a ministry is to assist parents in pointing their children to Christ and to mature in their faith. Our role isn’t to be the big show in town, rather it is to partner with parents and come alongside them to help support the nurturing of a faith deposited.
We meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights as well as special events and evening activities throughout the year.
If you are looking for a fun place for your student to experience the love of Jesus in the church and through others, look no further.
For more information go to our Student Ministries Page.
