May-June 2026 Learning Hour Classes

The Gospel Project: The Book of Acts  (Pastor Jared/Josh Branch) - Fellowship Hall
Join us as we return to the three year overview of the Bible as we now focus on Part 2 of Luke's account of Jesus' ministry (The Book of Acts). This time, however, the Spirit-empowered Church accomplishes this while meeting opposition at every turn (both internally and externally). Come and see the many lessons for today as we witness the exalted Christ's promise in Acts 1:8 come true despite this opposition as the Gospel spreads to the ends of the earth!
Great and Good: A Survey of God's Perfections (Bob Beasley & Pastor Bruce Smith) - Room 302
It is rightly said that a Christian’s central purpose is to “glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.” To do this, we need to know God as best we can through His Word. In this class, we’ll examine God’s many attributes, such as simplicity, sovereignty, omniscience, truth, love, and justice, and see how understanding God’s many perfections leads to strengthened worship, humble living, spiritual maturity, and a joy and peace that passes understanding.
Gather to Learn: Lessons from the Upper Room (Amy Beasley, Cindy Sober & Anita Baughman) -Room 406
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to spend an evening with Jesus, hearing Him teach and listening to Him pray? Come join us as we open the door to the upper room and listen in as the Lord shares His heart with His disciples in the final hours before He goes to the cross. Using a video series taught by Sinclair Ferguson, we will focus on the lessons found in John 13-17. We Hope you can join us; all women are welcome.
The class will run from March 1st through May31st .
Spiritual Discernment in a Tech-driven Society (Student Ministries)  (Caleb Norrick) - Room 303
At its introduction in 2007, the iPhone revolutionized how we view the world and interact with it. Unlike any other device on the market, this device can show you where to go, remind you of your next event, entertain you with music on the way and capture it all on video—all of this in the palm of your hand using only your finger to guide it. No doubt technology (not just the smart phone) has reshaped our world and worldview. Join us as we explore how to seek spiritual discernment in a tech-driven society. We will expand well beyond smartphones and tablets–all the way back to the garden. Technology has changed our lives and how we live, but to what effect? God has given these things as a blessing, and we cannot escape technology in our lives, so we must ask how we can use it for the glory of God, the sanctification of the saints, and the furtherance of the kingdom?
Prayer Group - Meet and Greet Room
Join our brothers and sisters in Christ calling out to God in praise and petition. Help seek God's will and blessing for the church body, its leaders, our ministries, and our community. Please consider setting aside this time to labor in prayer with others.
