A Glimpse of Heaven (Pastor Carl) - Fellowship Hall
In this study we will get a glimpse of heaven as we consider not only what heaven is like for believers now as they await their new bodies and the final state of glory, but also the final new heaven and earth as we consider how our various relationships will be affected, what our new bodies will be like, and what it means to rule and to reign with Christ for all eternity. If heaven has seemed boring to you or limited to images of just halos and harps, join us for a fresh glimpse of heaven as Pastor Carl teaches from the overflow of his study on Sabbatical this past year.

The Conscience (Pastor Jared & Pastor John) - RM 302
What do you do when you disagree with other Christians? How do you determine which convictions are negotiable and which are not? How do you get along with people who have different personal standards and yet claim to act based on a biblically informed conscience? Is God ok with two believers having different convictions on very important issues? Join us as we answer questions like these while we seek to define the conscience, how it gets calibrated, and what to do when we differ with others. We will be loosely following the book titled Conscience which will be available for purchase in the bookstore but is not required for the class.

Anxiety (Mark Leggett and Caleb Norrick) -RM 303
Anxiety is as common in our day as it was in Christ’s. Yet we are told in the Scriptures not to worry (to be anxious for nothing). But do you find yourself anxious over the uncertainty of friendships, the necessities of life, or even death? How should we respond to the fears in our lives that can lead to such crippling fear and anxiety? Join us as we study the subject of anxiety answering questions such as: What is it? What does the Bible teach regarding it? How do we apply truth in the areas of life we most commonly find ourselves anxious about? The class in this block will be geared toward students but will hopefully be offered in the near future as an adult class.
