Join us this block as we cover what we believe at FBC, why we believe it, and how we live it out together as faithful followers of Jesus Christ. If you are seeking to become a member, or if you want to be refreshed on things such as our doctrinal statement, church constitution, and other philosophies of ministry and church life (leadership, missions, student ministries, service in the church, church discipline, unity, etc.), join us as two of our pastors teach, lead discussion, and take questions regarding these important topics. All are welcome to attend, and THIS CLASS IS A REQUIREMENT for becoming a member at FBC.

Learning to Love the Psalms (Pastor Jared) -Fellowship Hall
Join us as we take a fresh look at the Psalms which are some of the most beloved, familiar, and perplexing sections of Scripture. We will be using a Ligonier video series as the base of our study and discussion, while Pastor Jared will give insights from his personal study and teaching the Psalms in the past. One week will include a hands-on workshop on interpreting the structure of Hebrew poetry which will help enrich your study of the Psalms and other sections of the Old Testament.

Drama Free: God’s Way to Deal With Teenage Conflict (Pastor Mike & Pastor Carl) -Room 304
Conflict and at times drama is everywhere in a teen’s life. Siblings, parents, teachers, classmates, teammates, cousins, and friends all create opportunities for conflict. Whether it’s misunderstandings, hurt feelings, or full blown drama, conflict is unavoidable. It’s not if conflict will happen, but how we respond when it does.
God knows every conflict teens face and hasn’t left us alone. In this class, we’ll consider how God’s Word helps us see conflict not just as a problem to run from, but as an opportunity to grow in Him. Together, we’ll learn how to pursue real peace, examine our own hearts, speak truth with love, know when and where to seek help, and practice true forgiveness and reconciliation. Come learn how to handle conflict God’s way and experience the freedom that comes with it.
