May-June 2025 Learning Hour Classes

Worth the Wait (Pastor Mike/John, Jacob Kernell, Josh Branch, Caleb Norrick) - RM 302
Waiting is hard—whether it’s for answers, change, or hope. But what if all of history was waiting for something…or someone? In this series, we’ll look at how God’s people waited centuries for a Savior—and how Jesus fulfilled every promise. We’ll explore how even when we’re tired of waiting, God is faithful, and how through Jesus, we don’t have to wait to be in relationship with Him. Through Scripture, discussion, and reflection, we’ll see how Jesus is not only the answer to ancient promises—but the very presence of God that transforms us. He is the Savior who came right on time, and through Him, we no longer wait for forgiveness, belonging, or identity. Get ready to see that Jesus isn’t just the one humanity has been waiting for—He’s more than we ever imagined.
Church History IV - The Post-Reformation Church (Bob Beasley) - RM 301
Separation from the Roman Catholic Church presented new opportunities for the church to press forward. Yet, growing division among Protestants surfaced with the influence of modern thinking. Join us as we continue our journey through the Ligonier church history video series as we carefully examine the men used by God to prepare the ground for the First Great Awakening. We will study the Puritans from England to New England. You will meet such notable figures as John and Charles Wesley, George Whitefield, Jonathan Edwards, and others.
Women’s Gather Class: Titus (Amy Beasley and Cindy Sober) - Fellowship Hall
The book of Titus is often known for its admonition in Titus 2 that older women should teach the younger women to be godly. We’ll consider this passage in the context of the entire book of Titus and see that it reflects a key theme: the interconnectedness of the gospel and good deeds. Paul writes, “[Jesus] gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.” (Titus 2:14) As Christ works in our lives, our good deeds will be evident in our personal lives, our churches and our communities. Join us as we gather to learn how the gospel of Jesus Christ overflows into doing good to those around us.
